The black skin and pulp of the Saperavi grape give this wine an inky, purple color.
Hints of smokiness, black pepper, chocolate, and vanilla, and a good hit of cherry
finish off this intense, velvety, complex red wine.
Pairs nicely with veal, game, mushrooms, and cured meats.
Once the indigenous Saperavi grapes are picked at the peak of their maturity, 
they are fermented in steel vats and then aged for 3 years in oak.
Saperavi is an ancient Georgian grape variety known for its deep color and rich 
flavor, and this is a wonderful example produced in the village of Mukuzani.
