Kvass is made by the natural fermentation of bread, such as wheat, rye. It has been a common drink in Russia and other Eastern European countries since at least the Middle Ages. The drink is comparable to some other ancient fermented grain beverages including beer brewed from barley by the ancient Egyptians, the pombe or millet beer of Africa. Kvass is produced in Russia, has a very long history to it. Enjoyed by everyone!
