The vodka is made from specially selected wheat, as well as the purest water from Lake Ladoga. A little honey and linden flowers are added. The whole thing is then filtered in 12 purification processes, the last of which is a special gold membrane filter, which gives the vodka its very special refined taste and its very special expression. Imperial Gold is the only vodka enriched with 24 carat gold ions.

The bottle is designed to remind of Saint Petersburg's golden period and is therefore decorated with real gold. The glass is also frosted , which helps the vodka retain its taste.
