Pakhlava, also known as baklava is a rich, sweet pastry made of layers of phyllo, a thin unleavened dough filled with chopped nuts, sweetened and held together with syrup or honey. It's a staple of Turkish cuisine and is also found in Central and Southwest Asia. This sweet pastry is very popular in Georgia as well.
Ingredients: flour, sour cream, milk, matsoni, yeast, vanillin, eggs, butter, sugar, walnuts.
Store in a dry and cool place away from direct daylight.
