Pelmeni are dumplings of Russian cuisine that consist of a soft, succulent beef & lamb mince wrapped in thin, unleavened dough.
Ingredients: wheat flour, egg, water, salted butter, beef mince, lamb mince, brown onion raw, salt, spices.
Cooking way: Once water is boiling on high, gently drop pelmeni in. Let them rise to the surface. Once they have come to the surface reduce heat to simmer and cook for 5-6 minutes. Add a bit of butter and stir gently to avoid pelmeni from sticking together.
Steaming 10-15 min, Deep frying 3 min.
Keep in freezer temp -18 C.
